In the name of spring cleaning, Pico Rivera has partnered with NASA Services to offer a free curbside service for residents who have bulky items to toss.
Eligible items for the service include such items as:
- Furniture
- Appliances
- Electronics
- Interior fixtures (carpeting, sinks, toilets, bathtubs)
- Gas grills (no propane bottles)
- Fencing, lumber and drywall (8-foot maximum length)
- Up to two car tires
The service will not pick up:
- Trees, stumps, branches or shrubs
- Construction materials such as dirt, brick, rock, concrete, asphalt and roofing materials
- Household chemicals, including paint, oil, fuel tanks, batteries, propane bottles and closed drums
The day of pickup coincides with residents’ normal trash pickup day. If your trash pickup day is:
- Monday, NASA Services will come on April 21
- Tuesday, NASA Services will come on April 28
- Wednesday, NASA Services will come on May 5
- Thursday, NASA Services will come on May 12
- Friday, NASA Services will come on May 19
