The American Public Transportation Association has announced that the upcoming Expo will be held in Orlando, FL, from November 7th to 10th, 2021. The Expo is a “celebration of public transportation” and features a wide range of innovative, useful, fun, and exciting vehicles and products from around the world.
The APTA Expo is the largest public transportation event in the US and has attracted over 300 exhibitors since first being held in 2005 in New York City. Many of those exhibitors have connections to Michigan, with mobility solutions companies such as AAA Dial-a-Ride (Detroit), Transdev (Ann Arbor), Go EV! (Fraser) & Detroit Mobility Systems (Detroit) among those with strong ties to the state.
The new location is expected to attract even higher attendance numbers in 2021 due to the growing popularity of the event in recent years and Orlando’s status as a major transportation hub of Florida. The new Expo will be held at the Orange County Convention Center, conveniently located next to Orlando International Airport.
The APTA’s 2018 Expo attracted over 370 exhibitors from around the world who showcased mobility solutions for people with disabilities, seniors, and the disabled. The event is held at a major metropolitan convention center and attracts attendees from around North America. With over 400+ exhibitors in attendance, the APTA Expo has become one of the largest public transportation technology events in North America.
APTA TRANSform & EXPO is the premier event for public transportation professionals. The industry’s “one-stop show” showcases everything from accessible vehicles to new payment technologies to disruptive technologies for transit. Showcasing technology for fixed-guideway systems, buses/transit systems, paratransit and community vehicles and services, the APTA TRANSform & EXPO provides attendees with access to in-depth education and valuable professional development opportunities that can only be found at this event.
The APTA TRANSform & EXPO serves attendees with a broad range of interests, including:
- Public transportation agency executives, decision-makers and managers;
- Federal, state and local government agency officials;
- Providers of technology products and services; and
- Resource providers who support public transit agencies.
